Coordinamento Torino Pride GLBT is a group of associations who connect other Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) & friendly associations that works in Piedmont committed to supporting the values of laicism, respect and enhancement belong of the differences.

It was born as a committee in 2006 for the organization of the National Pride in Turin, then in Biella in 2008 and then in Turin all the following years. In 2008 it joined ILGA Europe.

Besides the Pride, we promotes the celebration of the “World Day Against Homophobia” (May 17th) and the Transgender Day of Remembrance (November 20th). Inside there is also a Education Group that do training to adults (public employees, teachers, professionals) and students (email: [email protected]).

Project, dialogue, network.

Coordinamento Torino Pride work in different ways to achieve its own goals.

  • It organizes political, social and cultural initiatives about LGBTQI+ people rights, to defend their identity and respect and to overcome all forms of prejudice and discrimination.
  • It take care about relationships of debate and dialogue with public administrations, political and trade union institutions, representatives of public education and religious faiths.
  • It seeks exchange and synergy with other organizations, student and youth associations and the women’s movement.
